Lavasa partners with Bamboocrafts Limited!!!

Ever wondered how many Bamboo species are there in all??? With 125 different species, India possesses nearly 45% of the global bamboo reserves.

The valley of Lavasa itself cultivates 6 species of Bamboo, giving Lavasa an opportunity to come up with a bamboo workshop which shall then utilize these resources in a systematized and fruitful manner so as to generate self economy within the given space..

Lavasa Bamboocrafts Limited, is being set in association with Konbac, the daughter concern of INBAR(International Network for Bamboo and Retain)which has commenced operations at Mugoan Lavasa. This workshop houses over  65 workers.

With a tensile strength equivalent to steel, bamboo products are value-for-money, long lasting , eco friendly and beautiful.

The products manufactured, would be sold by the name “Bamboosa” under two sections: Artifacts and Furniture. Products under the category artifacts are clocks, trays, lamps shades, hangers etc..

Various sorts of sofas, comfortable chairs, double beds to display shelves…all made here at Lavasa… !!!
